So much good stuff in this, Amy. I have found that living with neurodivergence in self and/or children has made finding the right friendships more difficult and more needed. Lots of grace and understanding is needed when you aren’t always able to meet typical social norms. One of my closest friendships is with someone who has similar struggles in this area because we can give each other and our kids more grace. It’s been a huge blessing for both of our families.

Such a great point Summer. I’ve seen that with my daughter and I’ve also noticed that when she finds those friendships she dearly cherishes them.
