Merry Christmas friends.
What a year.
Like you perhaps, mine has held the balance of precious joy and deep grief.
I’ve accomplished more than I dreamed and haven’t finished what I’d hoped to.
I find the Ignatian practice of indifference indispensable in these moments. Allowing any given moment to be held for what it is not what I want it to be. And doing this knowing God’s ways prevailing are truly my hearts most ardent desire.
I wanted to share a piece I wrote for The Companioning Center’s Blog, just in time for today.
Merry Christmas dear ones.

This was so beautiful! I was so calmed hearing it read in your voice. And moved by your powerful prose.
Merry Christmas, dear Amy! Christ is born!
