The three things God has used consistently to heal me and resurrect me in trying seasons are beauty, rest, and truth. Beauty is the invitation, rest is what happens when we allow ourselves to use beauty as Sabbath for our souls, and truth is the result of the discipline of slowing down to tend to our often worn and weary hearts.
